Bishop Peter Doyle, Chair of the Committee for Marriage and Family Life, is taking part in the World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia this week. Joining him are Katherine Bergin, Christine and Michael Evans from Arundel & Brighton diocese, Joanne White from Cardiff diocese, Breda Theakston from Leeds diocese, Msgr Vincent Harvey from Portsmouth diocese, Edmund Adamus from Westminster diocese, Margaret Hinton from Wrexham diocese, and Project Office staff, Elizabeth Davies, Caroline Dollard and Hannah Moruzzi. Delegates from England and Wales arrived in Philadelphia on Sunday, 20th September and will be attending the Pastoral-Theological Congress which opens today (Tuesday, 22nd September) as well as the main Papal events at the weekend.
A team from Marriage Care including chief executive Mark Molden and chair of trustees Kit Dollard, are also in Philadelphia to exhibit resources as part of the Congress.
