The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales is seeking to appoint a part-time Marriage & Family Catechesis Development Worker for three years, to support and resource the faith formation needs of couples, parents and families. This post arises from, and is informed by, the findings of an earlier pilot project: Partners in a Shared Task. The new post will be located within the MFL Project Office and is a particularly exciting opportunity, given the forthcoming Synod on family and evangelisation. The successful applicant will be a skilled, knowledgeable, experienced and prayerful adult educator, catechist and family minister.

This post aims to promote a broader understanding and appreciation of the evangelising role and mission of the Christian family. The post holder will develop a national catechetical framework to support diocesan and parish ministry in serving the lifelong faith formation needs and responsibilities of couples and families.
Salary: £25k plus pension contribution
0.6 FTE (3 days per week)
Contract: 3 years
